1. Overview

At Nextric Digitals, we are committed to delivering high-quality digital marketing services including SEO, social media marketing, advertising campaigns, and website development. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which payments can be refunded or services cancelled.

By engaging our services or making a payment through our website or proposal, you agree to this policy. This policy is governed by and subject to the Australian Consumer Law.

2. Service-Based Nature of Our Work

Our services involve strategic planning, content creation, and execution, all of which require significant time, effort, and upfront resource allocation. Because of this, once a project has commenced or access to campaign assets has been provided, payments are generally non-refundable — except as outlined below or as required by law.

3. What Counts as Project Commencement

To avoid ambiguity, a project or service is considered to have commenced when any one of the following has occurred:

  • A formal kickoff call or onboarding meeting has taken place
  • A strategy document, campaign plan, or creative brief has been shared with the client
  • Access to client accounts, credentials, or assets has been requested or received
  • Any design, content, or development work has been initiated by our team
  • An advertising campaign has been set up, submitted for review, or gone live

4. Cancellation Policy

Recurring / Subscription Services

Clients on ongoing retainers or subscription-based plans may cancel by providing 30 days’ prior written notice via email to contact@nextricdigitals.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the 30-day notice period. Services and billing continue during that period.

Project-Based Services

Cancellation requests for project-based engagements must be submitted in writing via email before project commencement (as defined in Section 3). If approved prior to commencement, a partial refund may be issued after deducting the following fees:

  • Administrative fee.
  • Consultation fee.

Once a project has commenced, no cancellation or refund will be granted, except as required under the Australian Consumer Law.

5. Refund Policy

Refunds will be considered in the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate or accidental payment made by the client
  • A service was not initiated within the agreed timeline due to reasons solely attributable to Nextric Digitals (not the client)
  • A service was not delivered as agreed and the issue cannot be reasonably remedied
  • Any other circumstance where a refund is required under the Australian Consumer Law

Where a refund is approved:

  • It will be processed within 3–5 business days from the date of written approval
  • It will be issued via the same payment method used for the original transaction

6. Non-Refundable Services (Once Commenced)

The following services are non-refundable once commenced, except where required by the Australian Consumer Law:

  • SEO campaigns and technical audits
  • Social media marketing and paid advertising (Meta, Google, etc.)
  • Content writing, copywriting, and graphic design
  • Website design and development
  • Custom marketing strategies or consultancy projects
  • Domain name registration, web hosting, or third-party platform subscriptions (these are subject to the respective provider’s terms)

7. Client Responsibilities & Project Delays

Nextric Digitals is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Incomplete, inaccurate, or late provision of information or assets by the client
  • Delayed approvals, feedback, or responses from the client
  • Failure to provide necessary credentials, images, or content

In such cases, no refund will be issued, and project timelines will be adjusted accordingly. Delays caused by the client do not constitute a failure to deliver on our part.

8. Change Requests After Approval

Any change to the agreed scope after project approval including alterations to campaign goals, target audience, deliverables, or creative direction may incur additional costs. Refunds will not be issued due to changes in client preferences or business decisions made after work has commenced.

9. Force Majeure

Nextric Digitals will not be held liable for failure to deliver services due to events genuinely beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, major internet infrastructure outages, or platform-wide restrictions imposed by third parties (e.g. Meta, Google).

In such cases, we will communicate with affected clients promptly and work to resume services as soon as possible. Where a force majeure event prevents delivery of a service entirely, clients may be entitled to a pro-rata refund for undelivered work, subject to the circumstances and applicable law.
